Site booking tips
-
Please read our policies first. By reserving you agree to our campground rules, including quiet hours. The full details are on our Rates & Policies page.
-
Reservations must be made by an adult 21 or older. The person booking must be staying on the site for the entire reservation.
-
Rates are based on two adults and children 17 and under. Additional adults are $5 per adult per night, with a maximum of 4 adults per site. Door County allows one camping unit per site. We allow two tents if parents are in one tent and kids in another — if it’s four adults in two tents, you need two sites.
-
Minimum stays apply. There is a 2-night minimum on all sites and cabins. Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day weekends are a 3-night minimum, and the 4th of July is a 4-night minimum. For a one-night stay, call the office to check availability — one-night stays are paid in full and non-refundable.
-
Start with your dates and guest count. Enter your arrival and departure dates and the number of adults and children. The system then shows only the site types and cabins available for those dates.
-
Dates shown as unavailable are fully booked. If your first choice isn’t open, try adjusting your arrival date by a day or two, or choose a different site type. You can also call us at 920-868-3349 and we’ll help you find an option.
-
You pick your site type, not a site number. Once we review your online reservation, we’ll place you on the best site available for your camping unit. If you have a specific site in mind, please note it in the “additional comments” section. We do not guarantee a specific site number on a stay of less than 5 nights.
-
Our online reservation system is a general booking engine. It knows that we have sites available, but it doesn’t know what we have available. So while it may allow you to book a site, we may not have a site that accommodates your camping unit — if that happens, we’ll call you as soon as possible to discuss options. Any questions about availability, please give the office a call at 920-868-3349.
-
During our busy season, you may be offered a split stay. The reservation system will let you book if there are sites available; however, it may not be on one site, meaning you would need to move sites during your stay. We know this isn’t ideal, so we’ll contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
-
A deposit is charged at booking. Camping sites require a $50 deposit and cabins require one night’s stay. The balance is due at check-in.
-
Allow up to 24 hours for your confirmation email. We process each deposit manually, so your email confirmation can take up to 24 hours to arrive. Be sure to check your spam folder.
